Harrisonburg in the Shenandoah Valley The Shenandoah Valley Art Center, during the month of February, as a tribute to art education, is exhibiting the artwork of the Shenandoah Valley Governor’s School Visual Arts Department, located in Fishersville since 2002. The school serves gifted junior and senior high school students of the Augusta County, Staunton, and Waynesboro Public Schools.

Paws to Read – Summer Reading Continues through July

The program includes prizes for hours read and a series of weekly programs with the theme Paws to Read. The program’s mascot is Rocket, the dog featured in the award winning and bestselling children’s books by Tad Hills.

Too Human with Ellen Schwartz and Roger Bruno, March 15

Boenel Records recording artists, Too Human with Ellen Schwartz and Roger Bruno, will return to WTA’s Gateway on Saturday, March 15 at 8:00pm. The trio plays extensively across the United States and will share their jazz repertory at the Wayne Theatre Alliance’s Gateway at 329 West Main in Downtown Waynesboro.

Swinging Time at WTA’s Gateway

The ACME Swing Mfg. Co, an ecstatically fun band, will return to WTA’s Gateway with its unique version of  hot swing on Saturday, January 18. Noted for their “jazz music that you can dance to!” ACME’s powerhouse lineup will provide the best hot jazz combo this side of The Cotton Club.

Jazz : Stephanie Nakasian and Hod O’Brien

The Custin Jazz Series brings two outstanding jazz musicians to WTA’s Gateway on Saturday February 9. The 8 pm performance unites jazz singer Stephanie Nakasian with jazz pianist Hod O’ Brien in an evening of classic American jazz. Richard Adams Variety Show Has It All
