The Stonewall Jackson Inn Bed & Breakfast is a restored mansion (circa 1885) that is very unique to the Harrisonburg area.
An architectural blend from traditional Queen Anne to a Stone and Shingled New England Cottage Style, the Inn looks and feels like an old summer coastal home at Newport or Bar Harbor.
There are ten well appointed guestrooms. Each room is unique in decor and ambiance with different combinations of shape, original fixtures, high ceilings and hardwood floors.
Overnight lodging includes a full "Breakfast to Remember" each morning. We are centrally located near historic Old Town Harrisonburg, minutes from James Madison University, and a short drive to Shenandoah Valley attractions such as the Skyline Drive, two National Forests, and multiple Civil War Sites.
Amenities: Our bed and breakfast is filled with beautiful creations of some of the Shenandoah Valley's best artists. The rooms contain an extraordinary collection of the limited edition prints of P. Buckley Moss as well as stunning watercolors by Rachel Goodman.
There are ten guest rooms available at the Inn, each with private bath. All rooms are equipped with modern conveniences, internet data ports, cable television, and telephone. Rooms are sound insulated with climate control, television, telephone and data port. Parking is generous and free.
Directions: Harrisonburg Virginia is approximately 100 miles north of Roanoke, 100 miles west of Washington, D.C.
Traveling on Interstate 81, take the Harrisonburg exit 247B. Travel 0.8 miles through 3 stoplights. As you descend over the hill, on the left you will see that we proudly fly "Old Glory" from a 60 foot white flag pole anchored in a large Stonewall base that marks our location and frames our name, The Stonewall Jackson Inn - Bed & Breakfast.
