SMUG is located in the Northwestern region of Virginia, known as The Shenandoah Valley. Harrisonburg is just about the center of The Shenandoah Valley, and is home to James Madison University (JMU), Eastern Mennonite University (EMU), Bridgewater College (BWC), and Massanutten Technical Center (MassTech). Offices are maintained at 15 Southgate, Harrisonburg, VA, 22801.

NEWS: BlueRidgeMac, the Apple computer retailer and service business based in Woodville, is reaching out to a larger market, with plans to open a second store in Harrisonburg, Virginia, scheduled for May 12 in the new location in the Town Center at 182 Neff Avenue in Harrisonburg. Join the User Group Info Manager Discussion List for our weekly mailing each Monday morning with lots of Apple and Macintosh related info, news, views and resources. This is an email list where you can ask questions and get help as well. Currently there are nearly 2,000 subscribers. It's low traffic, low bandwidth and SMUG officer Fred Showker is the co-editor.
