Robert David Powell (Bob)

Bob attended VA Tech from 1968-71. He then served in the U.S. Air Force from 1971-75. After service, he graduated from James Madison in 1977 receiving his BBA and later his CPA. Bob worked in public accounting and corporate financial positions from 1977-1991. From 1991-2007, he owned and operated Skyline Express, Inc., a small trucking company in Front Royal VA. In 2007, he sold his company and plans to begin retirement soon. He and his wife Lou live in Winchester VA. They have two grown children, David Louis (9/19/83) and Emily Deaton (8/15/88). Bob enjoys golf. He and his wife enjoy gardening and traveling. He belongs to the Winchester Exchange Club.
